I must congratulate you, especially the Isometric view point. It is likely that Free Empires will be on squares for a while. We our selves at the FE project have gotten a boost, Gambas 2.0! We can not wait for it to enter the Fedora Repository, then we will port our QT engine to SDL and then hopefully development can really take off! I am hoping that we will have practically all the domestic functions finished by next Christmas! Which was pretty much where we were in the old Windows only Game Maker version (Except Resource gathering needed work). If we achieve this by then or earlier we can start working on enemy AI and combat. Good work and best of luck to OE!
Sounds great! Can't wait for the next update from you guys. :-) . Though I haven't estimated too accurately, even we are aiming for next Christmas!
Btw, even though its not decided upon yet, we were considering a little less realistic approach. Have you seen Cannon Fodder? I am sure you would have understood what I am talking about. :-) . Perhaps you'd get a clearer picture once we have some concept art ready.

Also nice House graphics, though we have a 3D Model guy in training! When we release the models feel free to use them.

You've definitely organized this project well; I'm have hopes the game will be the same quality :)
I've been watching this site for a while, nice!
I am so excited when this thing is going to get released.
Yea, finally a free software historical RTS!
